Public transportation is really good and cheap - not just the cable cars ;-)
Of course there is a lot of well known stuff like Golden Gate, Coit Tower, Lombart Street, Golden Gate Park, Alcatraz...
I liked Twin Peaks - quite a walk ;-) - the pacific ocean and the golden gate park...
